Time to train for marathon #5!
A few words… I want an awesome bike. I want to ride it everywhere and I want to do a triathlon!
This summer, I fell in love with Pittsburgh’s local farmers’ markets. It amazes me that the local food tastes so much more alive, fresh…just plain better. My new favorite salad toppers are pea shoots (which I prefer to call pea tendrils) and sunflower sprouts. The pea shoots have a sweet nutty taste just like a pea. The sunflower sprouts are nutty and crisp, like eating sunflower seeds in your salad without the added fat. For protein, I bought pre-baked smoked tofu and put it in a pan with Pam to crispify! De-lish!
My new favorite workout! Finally got in done in under 15 minutes, then repeat. Tomorrow’s goal is 3 times and a 6 mile run. Marathon training begins!
